The ImPark web site has the Purple 1 lot listed as "Sold Out" again. If you didn't take advantage of your second chance, it may be too late this time. We'll keep an eye on it, though, and let you know if they "find" some more spots. 

The StarTrombone is reporting that the Vikings are not proceeding with the purchase of four downtown blocks near the Metrodome which are slated as new tailgating lots this season. Sources at the Vikings and Impark, the company that manages the property, say that tailgating plans for 2007  are not dependent on the Vikings purchase of the property, and tailgating will go ahead as planned this season, even if the deal falls through. It's not clear what the long term effect may be on future tailgating or a downtown stadium.
